When using a wireless router, the most troublesome thing is that your network is being used by others. How should you set the home wireless router to prevent others from stealing the network? You can do it in the following ways:
1. Change the password
If the password is stolen, the easiest way is to change the password and use a relatively new encryption technology such as WPA2. However, if others can crack you the first time, they can crack you the second time. This method is not thorough enough. See the second trick.
2. MAC physical address binding and filtering
On the MAC address side, there are two tricks that can be used. One is to bind the address you want, and the other is to filter the addresses of others. Through the above wireless host status, you can already get an IP and MAC address of the stalker. You may open the MAC address filter table to filter out the host of the other party, so that he can no longer access the Internet.
3. Turn off DHCP and use static IP
The DHCP function is used to automatically issue IP to the host. Turn off the DHCP function of the router, and change the SSID number and password at the same time. It is best to change the Internet segment of the LAN port, and then go back to the computer settings. IP, use a fixed IP to access the Internet, as long as someone does not know your Internet segment, even if the account password is stolen, he will not have the correct IP to access the Internet, but this method will make it inconvenient for you to use the Internet.
4. Turn off the SSID broadcast, so that others cannot find you
There is an option for SSID broadcast in the basic parameters of the router's wireless settings. If you don't tick this option, you can put your own WIFI name. If you want to surf the Internet, you need to manually establish a connection on the wireless terminal.
